In our world today we have a crisis of able and effective leaders; leaders with the character and lifestyle of our great leader ever, who is our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a need for every one of us to discover the great hidden potential qualities of leadership within ourselves as leaders which God has invested in us.

When we received Jesus Christ in us, we received everything from God pertaining to life and Godliness (2Peter 1:3), meaning we have received what it takes to be able and strong effective leaders. The Bible says that Jesus has become our wisdom, our righteousness, our sanctification, and our redemption (1Corinthians 1:30). When we have Him, we have got everything that requires us to be able and strong effective leaders.

So, we need to see ourselves in the mirror and in the light of the New Testament covenant which is a better covenant with better promises. There is no need to fear, to compare ourselves by ourselves and to compete and ask us how we can do it, instead we should put our trust in God because the bible says that we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)

So as far as The Light to Nations ministry is concerned, this is one of our major areas where we have put our emphasis and focus upon; to bring edification, exaltation, and comfort in the Body of Christ. (1Corinthians 14:2-3; Ephesians 4:11-16).

There is a strong need for leaders to know who they are, what they have got inside of them through Christ Jesus and what they can do, so that they can stand to be the great ambassadors for Christ Jesus.

As leaders, we are called, raised and equipped to reflect Jesus Christ in all our spheres of influence. When we discover ourselves as leaders; of who we are in Christ, what we have in Christ and what He can do through us; our fellowship and relationship with others become so easy which many of us have neglected because of being disappointed, betrayed and manipulated.

But it is my conviction that every one of us is the best leader in his/her respective position based on how God has called and gifted us. Because the bible says that “Let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion… (Genesis 1:26). So, from this scripture above, we understand that God made every man and woman with the needed potential to have ‘Dominion’, to rule, so that man should be like God, to become the leader of everything God created. So, this simply means that we were created to be leaders, we are all in-born leaders in our respective positions.

We intend as a ministry to train, raise and equip and empower upcoming leaders for them to stand, run and match in their own column (lines), so that altogether we can become world changers. (Joel 2:2-11).

As Christ-like leaders, who have the same life, nature and character, there are things we are called to overcome and there are also things we are called to reflect to the world, for we are born of the incorruptible word of God which makes us overcome this world. (1Peter 1:22-23).

Things which leaders are supposed to overcome:

A} Gold -Money
B} Girls -Women or Men
C} Glory -Pride,

These are things which chop, corrupt and paralyze our callings and gifts, and bring shame on the church of Jesus Christ, but we have the DNA of our Lord Jesus Christ within us to overcome, it is just a matter of changing and renewing our minds through the word of God and knowing who we are in Him; in Him we are more than conquerors, we no longer live our life, we are living His life here on earth which gives us victory over sin. So, leaders need to be told of how to overcome as we endeavor to serve Him.

Things which leaders should reflect to the world:

A} His Life, Nature, character and Godly morals.
B} Faithfulness
C} Transparency

We intend to work with different churches, ministries, to share more in a detailed way on each and every one of the outlined points with leaders for them to have a sense of focus and purpose while serving God.

Lastly but not the least; as someone who is a leader, and who has been a long those lines for some time, I would simply say, if we can fully depend on and fellowship with the Holy-Spirit, if we can understand the person and the power of the Holy Spirit, then we will always Overcome. (1 John 4:4).
